Well, even if you haven’t, we have created that wheels that you can use to do this if you now cannot think about anything else. Try our 29er 50mm carbon fibre fat bike wheels; we think you may be pleasantly surprised.

Our 50mm rims in the 29er size allow you to slim your fat bike down to plus bike size, for a lot less than buying a plus bike. Being 29plus they should still let you roll over pretty much everything but on a much lighter wheel and as we all know that everyone involved in cycling wants lighter wheels.

Our tubeless ready rims are light, stiff, and strong thanks to their construction. Our engineers have spent time researching and coming up with an excellent layup design using Toray T700 carbon fibre. We use T700 as it is perfect for use with bike components and it is excellent for wheel rim construction.

As our rims do what they have to, we needed a hub that does precisely the same. We use Powerway M74 on our fat bike wheelsets. They have sealed bearings, come in red or black, and more importantly roll well. We also have Shimano freehubs and SRAM XD drivers in stock for them. The front comes in 150mm width with a 15mm thru axle, and the rear comes in either 190mm or 197mm width, and both run a 12mm axle.
